Title: time ripe for "serious" VR sets

I'm talking about helmet mounted display and glove-no need for joystick anymore. Wouldn't you want to play FB in those?

The next best thing is the TrackIR, particularly for FB with proper built in support.

Having used a VR headset solidly for a period of about 2 years I can assure you TrackIR isn't even close to a headset. My favourite game was EF2000, best memory ever was doing a vertical scissors with a Mig-29, canopy to canopy.

Udet here ya go: http://www.i-glassesstore.com/

The trackers they bundle use DirectInput drivers, so they should be able to work with many games.

I just use a trackball mouse affixed to my joystick. Frees up the hats for other game commands and is easy to use/pan/track targets with it in FB... the initial months are naturally an adjustment period, but it's much better than using a hat and much, much cheaper than any of the current neck/head digital supplements.
