Title: Fathers first flight...Looking for 2 or 3 patient, considerate escorts

Alright rooks heres the deal.  Im a soph in college this year and i told my dad about this game he really likes flight sims but most are too fast paced and he gets frustrated and quits.  Well bombing in this game is just right for him since most of it consists of placing you're buff on outo climb calibrating dropping the load and getting back.  He has been practicing off-line for about 2 weeks and tonight he is taking his first step into the MA.  I have planned out a mission for him, and i was hoping i could get 2 or 3 considerate fighter pilots to escort my father and my b-26 formation to the target.  It will be at about 6:45pm eastern.  My callsign is Tdawg101.  This will probobally take some patients so please only offer to help if you can be considerate to some newbie questions.  Please reply to this if you would be interested

Yep its a milk run.  But hes really into history and he'll like to see some escorts plus there are alwasy some cons around

Only kidding, found that Pop and I can't fly in same squad, but we have an awesome time when he flips countries on a Saturday morning. My Dad is retired, 6,000++ hours glider, SEL, SES, MEL with 1,000+ aerobatics and FAA waiver endorsements for airshows, was ranked 6th in world in aerobatics, loves AH, but even though I'm 47 he still tries to boss me around the skies of AH, the nerve, I have a glider licence!! hehe only kidding.

Tdawg, have him read about upcoming scenerios, snapshots, and other special events (especially if he's a history buff)!

Check out the Special Events forum... organized events give this game life and the CM team really does an excellent job setting these things up.

I'm sorry I missed this posting.  Sounds like it would've been fun.  I hope he enjoyed it!  Level bombing is an art I haven't mastered yet.

Im rook, and so is my squad (441st Silver Fox)

Give us a yell when you guys are online (my handle is CptChaos in the game).  I enjoy buffing and understand how having a few escorts can make a difference!  I should be on this evening, if he wants to up some buffs, I'll see if I can round up a few guys to escort him in and out.
