Let's kick Iraq's bellybutton AND the PRK's ass. Simultaneously.
-
Iraq will be piece of cake.
In NK lots of Americans will die.
Would you be willing to go to NK?
-
Let me make a quick call to Chirac and see if that's OK.
-
NK scares me.
they'd use their WMD in a heart beat.. I'm more scaredf for SK as the North would swarm over the DMZ in a move that would resemble the bugs in 'Starship Troopers'

Animal I'm just funnin around. I'd fight to defend US soil but that's about it. Bring 'em home.
-
I would think its a great idea to pull most US foreces from Korea. If nothing else I'd love to see the faces of all those sk politicians an anti-us protestors who cried for the usa to leave when it actually does happend and they realize there is nasty army on their border and they have to worry about it now.. Lets get them out, just for fun. :)
-
Yep.
SK (and 90% of our allies) are quite capable of self defense if they start spending anything close to the percentage of GNP that we spend on defense.
-
Yea Funked then they brag how good their health care systems are compared to ours.. Yep I bet they are when the US covers their defense budget...

Realistically, what makes North Korea fierce? They have hardly any petroleum products, very little electricity, and aging equipment.
Parts of South Korea are within artillery range, like Seoul. North Korean troops probably are equiped with automatic weapons, unlike U.S. troops. But other than that, I do not see any major advantage. Though North Korea isn't tanking country, South Korea does have tanks that can navigate steep terrain.
-
What makes them fierce is that they devote a vastly greater fraction of their GNP to defense than does their southern neighbor, in addition to the psychological advantage of totalitarian communist indoctrination of their troops.
-
Leave Iraq alone....Invade Kuwait and Pakistan.
-
Wonder why all those bombers are in Guam? I think the last count was 30 or so. Iran goes down as Iraq goes down. 2 for 1 war.
-
Bulldoze Iraq.
Leave NK alone.
The Iraq issue will be a "conflict." NK would be a "war."
I am in agreement with most in this thread, however. Bring all US troops home from SK and let NK go on shooting missiles into the sea. Without American troops in SK, or in any other part of the world for that matter, you watch people quickly remember why the troops were there in the first place...
Eventually everyone bites the hand that feeds them.
