IL-2 has a better flight model and graphics engine than CFS2.  CFS2 is like the old Ba Ba Blacksheep TV show were F4U's can out turn Zekes and Zeros.

cfs2 IS DULL. CFS 1 was much better. Il2 is superb except I can't get time to play it.

Take a look at Janes WWII Fighters if you get a chance. Its plane modelling is still excellent,( outside views are stunning and cockpit views still great) although the flight model is suspect and too forgiving. This game came out in 1998!

European Air War looks creaky these days BUT the flight model was scarily real. You want to learn about stall and spin, that was your man!
