Ok losers,
Which one of you married guys has had your 'puter equipment vandalized by the spouse? Be honest now. We won't laugh at ya. I wanna hear some stories of carnage, broken keyboards, the works.
My wife once broke my MSFF stick in half, when I ran up a $200 bill on WB's. Took some creative engineering with the epoxy and fiberglass strands. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif) She's still working too. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

WOW, that's harsh Heath...the wife won't touch my stuff because we have 2 jobs and 1 bank account, so she'd be costing herself money! The worst thing that's happened to me is after a 200+ WB bill, she pulled the plug on 'something else', I had to go to a manual floppy for about a month. Had a perfectly good Logitech stick thrown out by my wife as she was cleaning out my office. When I asked what would possibly give her the inclination to throw out a stick, she said, "You already have one on your desk...what are you going to do with another one??"
At that point, with my mouth open and willing to scream, I shut it and knew it was for the wiser. How could I explain to her that was a replacement for the existing stick when it eventually would break?

She hid my jstick until I agreed to negotiate
strict terms of usage. I agreed right away, but I had to sign a document acknowledging the limitations. Actually Rip, she kinda brushed it over on the desk, and it fell in the floor and broke (on carpet too!). Snapped the shaft in half at the base. I acted like a battered husband for a few days and it really worked out good for me in the end. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Not married but my last girlfriend confiscated my joystick for a week once.

No vandalism here as yet...probably for the same reason as Rip mentioned.
I do however endure the nagging about the Visa bill from time to time -- ($45.00/month Canuck money)

My wife hates "Aces High". I told her if I buy a new vehicle and have payments, I'll have to quit. Now she is begging for me to buy a new vehicle!

One night I told her I'd spent the night next to her just cuddling and watching TV. After awhile, she seen me staring at my joystick on the computer desk with a sad look on my face. She couldn't take it, and told me to go fly, cause I looked like a lost puppy!

Back in my boxed sim days my sweetie used to hide my sim discs so that I would do my grad work. Prolly never would have made it through school if she hadn't though. LOL.
We now wake up at 5:30 on work days, she usually asks me when I went to bed. When my answer is past 3:00, she just looks at me like I'm a total tard. And that I am. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Back when I had a girlfriend with a real job I stayed with her in Brussels for 6 weeks (I was living in Pisa at the time); Didn't fly these things yet, but I did somehow get ahold of a copy of X-com 3. She really liked the idea, because she knew that as long as I was in front of the computer, I wouldn't break anything.

My wife knows better.
She once thru all my playboys(I read the articals. Never looked at pictures)on a fire because she didn't have enough regular paper to keep it going(so she says) and when I got home I was so pissed I started throwing all of her decorations on the same fire.
She's never touched my stuff since.

Wife didn't vadalize my computer but one time, much to my bewilderment didn't speak to me for a week because (Now imagine the most computer clueless person in the world here) she somehow found her way to some newsgroup with a gazillion posts in it and automaticly associated my name (Mike) with every MIKE in the list of posts, many of which contained...well just IMAGINE!! She was pretty embarrased after I showed her how newgroups work haha.

Never really had my gear vandalized. One time my wife thought she'd be cute and yank the plug out of the wall. She wanted to go to the mall and window shop while I was playing games (is that a waste of time or what, windowshopping at the mall that is). I just glanced at her and kept on flying.
She reached down, grabbed the plug, and pulled it out. Only noticable thing was one set of speakers cut out (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
She grabbed the other plug and pulled it out. I started chuckling when nothing happened and she had a look of 'whiskey tango foxtrot' on her face, especially when the battery backup started beeping (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
Prolly shouldna chuckled, cause she went and got a pair of scissors and cut the baseline to the phonejack I had run to my desk.

Mine takes another approach I'll tell you it's hard to engage when your GF has lingerie on and the nipple factor is blocking cons.
Never seen soooo much lingerie since I started to fly Hardcore.

No vandalism but my wife pretty much hates AH (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) however, I told her if I was't playing this game it would just be something else even more expensive like motorcycles, scubadiving, jetskiing, etc. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) Besides I usually don't play until the wife and kids are in bed asleep.
I do have a feature request though. I noticed that in Microsoft Combat Flight simulator that if you push the pause/break key it IMMEDIATELY terminates the game. Works every time don't it? I used to shoot pool for money and pleasure after work, made more than I lost at nickel/dime games under 20 bucks...told wife that flying was cheaper than the pool alternative...still planning on getting back into skydiving or <retirement mode> building a Midi-light A/C <retirement mode off>

Like Swager I keep up my end most of the time, dishes, laundry, play with the kids and all. I am one of the blessed few that has a wife who enjoys flying. She spent a few hours in Warbirds, but I have not talked her into Aces High yet. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) Only because I have not tried.
I was surprised the other night though when my son, (who is only 5) was doing some tanking off line. He called for help and my wife went to his side. Just a bit later I went to check on them and there she was in my seat with my son standing at her side. Both were discussing the art of blowing up an airfield.

St, you gotta love single life. Pizza every night, plenty of beer, no wife or g/f around to pester you at bad moments.....ahh this is living. Now if I could only end a month with more than $43.21 in my pocket! You old married people.....yeesh! Kids?! Egads I can't imagine kids around here. Delicate stuff in my place; computer, speaker system, stereo, TV, 5 models of WW2 aircraft [hand built], even my beloved posters.
Got my Bud poster on the living room wall; nice old truck with cases and cases of Bud in the back. Got another one that's great; BIG-chested lady wearing a wet T-shirt that says "In an emergency, lifeguard may be used as floatation device". Can you imagine something like soda stains or crayon on those? Yech!
St, move to the states; we'll rent a nice little appartment and hang a sign out front. It'll read "O'Club: Jagdgeshwader Pilots ONLY!". Turn the living room into a pool room, maybe get a few old ammo cases and make an ad-hoc bar!
