I understand the reasoning behind not getting a successful landing at an enemy field. Having said that, how are we supposed to land ground vehicles? Should we spawn to a base, and in the event the base is not taken, drive back to the closest field/vehicle hangar, or should we just ditch? Need to come up with a way to land kills in gv's with the new "fix".

Last night, I remote spawned to a nearby friendly field which was under attack and killed a P38 which attacked me on the way. By the time I got going again I noticed the field had been captured, so headed back towards the spawn point. I don't know if something has been fixed here, or I was just lucky in hitting the right spot, but was amazed to get a successful landing.... :)

Didnt know that. I have never managed to... :(

Unless something has changed, I think it might have just been luck! I was going to head all the way back to the field, but it was taking too long..... I think I had already passed the spawn point so I was somewhere between it and the home field. It's the first time I haven't had a ditch.
