W.E.P. = War Emergency Power

How this techincally works varies from plane to plane but it's essentially sort of an overboast on the engine sorta like 110% throttle setting which gives you more power output dependant on altitude, but causes the engine temperature to rise.  When the engine gets too hot it cuts out and you can't use it again till it's cooled down a bit.

It's also not available on every plane, but if you're flying a fighter, chances are it is available.

Flossy,

   I've just viewed your profile and visited your site: believe me, I'd have really liked to have a mum like you!;)

P.S.: I'll thank Hammer for Netaces! (and, BTW, I hope I didn't make mistakes in this post- you know, I'm Italian, not English!:p )

Well your English is very good!  Much better than my Italian, which I am afraid is non-existant....  :o

Glad you liked my website - its badly out of date, though..... I will have to update it soon.  :)
