Hours of mindless fun! If you're looking for realism, this ain't it, but the fun factor is definitely there.

played it for 2 weeks straight. Haven't played it since :)

It's great.
It's superb because there is a star wars mod coming out for it with AT-AT walkers.
No, I'm not kidding.

I love it .. Play it weekly. The expansion is great. The Patches have made it a great game.

One of several games and simulations supported on dedicated servers 7x24 over Dual T3 connections. I can't speak for the BF 1942 group, but the Ghost Recon community is a great bunch of people. A lot of serving and ex-miltary guys.

They are recreating the battle of Hoth - the one with the big snow battle at the beginning.
The AT-ATs will be amazing - I haven't a clue how they managed to get them into the game. BF1942 doesn't have anything like them. :)

Play it every night.
Just got the EP RTR and been playing the hell out of it.
I was playing America's Army but the servers have been so crappy lately that I finally gave up.
-
cool..gonna have to download it from kazaa.

i cant get anywhere in AA...i keep blowing my own team away on accident and my honor just gets lower and lower. jeez friendly fire really does have consequences (no offense to anyone really injured in real life).
-
Well I'm up to 21 in AA .
Some maps are hard as hell just because of close quarters and your first impulse of pulling the trigger.
Weapons Cache is the hardest for me.
Pipeline and Mountan Pass are my favorites.
Little hint: Always chose to be leader...you get a toejam load of points even if you don't fire a shot.
I was getting 650+ points on the Bridge map and all I was doing was calling out E.
