Time to stop arguing about the war. It's going to happen. Time to hope for minimal casualties and concentrate on fixing the place up after the war is over.
-
Agreed. Here is to hoping for a quick war with a low bodycount, and no WMDs used by anyone.
-
a bit of spelling correction : the places
From UN to international relation there is a lot to do ...

It was obvious several months ago... When "someone" says "one" by sending CV groups he has to say "two" by starting an agression.
What I don't understand is Russian government's position. They just whine and thus make any Russian engagement in post-war Iraq impossible. If they cared so much about this war - all they can do is threaten US with nuclear weapons to stop them, but they never will do so, even during agression in Yugoslavia they did nothing  If you can't change anything - just relax and try to enjoy it. But as usuall they do everything possible to be f@#ked up and spoil all they can. So far it looks as silly as "138th Chinese warning".

Agreed !

Agreed. Unless Saddam takes the money and runs, the days are getting short.

Russia would no more use its nukes to threaten us as we would them...when you have over 14000 nukes between the two of us aimed probably still at one another....you dont make idle threats. If the US and Russia had a nuclear exchange that didnt drop a bomb anywhere outside the borders of either country, it could potentially destroy the ecology of this planet for hundreds, maybe thousands of years.
remember nuclear winter??
hehe...
any of you guys watch "The Day After" lately.
great flick

N1kPaz, I hope such thing will never happen. I just meant they can do something instead of whining if they really don't want that war. Or at least bang their heads against the Kremlin wall.
"Daddy, Daddy, why there is a wall around Kremlin?"
"Sonny, it's a fortress, so the enemies will not get into Kremlin from outside"
"Daddy, I thought it's there to prevent them from getting out of Kremlin!"

Thats a childrens movie... Try "Threads" instead for some realism.

Agreed, those at the point of the spear always deserve our respect and support.

I really hope saddam either bails or we get in so quick because of surrenders and such that we can take him out within a week and begin repairing and stabilizing, minimal bloodshed.
-
wait a minute I thought the toast goes like 'here's to a bloody war and a quick promotion'
-
I've said it before and I'll say it now. If it's not clear when this is over that Saddam was indeed in flagrant violation of his disarmament agreement I'll join those clamoring for Bush's resignation.
On the other hand, if it's clear he posed a real threat, I'll never forget those that resisted so arduously.

bug off fascist
god bless ever one of um.

It may also be clear which nations were flagrantly helping him in his rearmament, which may be why those same nations were so active in preventing his removal.
