I say 10,000 within the first 72 hrs or as fast as their iraqi legs can get them to the nearest allied soldier
pow containment is the biggest problem our armed forces face in this "war"
hope they don't have the bright idea of stickin a suicide bomber in with the pows, that wouldn't bode well for the rest ....
-
Probably best way to solve that is to have the POW's frisk each other
-
btw, I guess 20,000 pows in first 24 hours; depends how far in we penetrate, and how far in the regular army formations are stationed
-
rearm them, send 'em to france.
hungry.

Time's map - http://www.time.com/time/covers/1101030317/map/ - shows Iraqi army outer bases near oil fields at Mosul, Kirkuk and north of Basra.
Since we are going to be seizing the oil fields quickly to protect from any Saddam mischief, I would guess that 100% of strength in those bases would be prisoner the first day. Rumor has it that we have penetrated the IA email system and have been emailing the lower chain of command with instructions on how to surrender.

looks like I was off by 10,000 :)
wtg Rasker - your timing was alittle off but numbers correct
