"I just wonder, in ten years will people shake my hand and say thanks for my freedom, or will they shake your hand? Neither you nor I know."

Nice link Tarmac. Illustrates the reason why most liberal radio shows fail quickly.

I bet if I had a "liberal" radio show it wouldn't fail. ;)

Weazel, I disagree with 100% of what you post and if I saw you on the street shouting your propaganda, I'd probably kick you in the nuts.
That said - I would produce any Liberal radio show with you as the host... we'd make a KILLING!
Caller: But Mr. Weazel, youre wrong, we need to bomb everyone!
Weazel: SILENCE VILE CONSERVATIVE PUKE! BUSH IS HITLER!! ...and here's why...
Jesus the money we could make... you'd be the next Howard Stern.

I think we have another human bulldozer barrier candidate... Lets start a fund and buy her a ticket.

I hear Al Franken is trying to start a national lib talk show with the backing of some wealthy liberals. I recall that Jim Hightower and friends tried to do that a few years ago, but failed, something about the demographics of AM radio listeners.

That uneducated little girl shouldn't represent her side of the issue. There's ignorant people supporting both sides, and she's one of them. Many peace rally people also want Sadam to be removed from power, but not by this method. It is ok to remove him by force, but not without the support of the UN. If you can't get the support of the UN, then TRY HARDER. The UN is only as powerfull as you make it.
If so many Iraqis are so keen in getting rid of Sadam, then why havn't they done it themselves already? Sadam is Iraq's problem, they always have the option of civil war. Sombody explain how his minor threat to the world justifies an invasion by outside nations. The threat of small tactical bio/chem weapons does not justify invasion, nor are they weapons of mass destruction. After so many successfull inspections, no weapons of mass destruction have been found.

The UN is only as powerful as *France* makes it, which in the present case, is totally impotent. France had some leverage, but totally blew it; in effect said, "my way or the highway". Bush, Blair and the coalition called France's bluff, are warming up the engines, pointing down the highway to Baghdad.

They're still undermining the UN. They should instead be working on increasing the influence and respect of the UN around the world. This was a great opertunity to do so, yet the US has completely destroyed that opertunity. That's bad politics.

hmm that might be a long term process, in the meantime they have a war to fight and a country to liberate.

She sure is typical of so many liberal peace fools. I imagine she is some poli/sci major at college, never having experienced the world, thinking a trip to Cancun is exotic, dangerous and world experiencing.
She could provide no answer, just parrot a line of nonsense that ignores the reality of the real world.

I couldn't disagree more. The UN is on the brink of becoming completly irrelevant, and I think France is responsible for that. Does anyone really think the UN passing resolution after resolution with no authority behind it really increase "influence and respect"??
Just the opposite, the UN will be laughed at and ignored like a puppy on a chain, yipping away without the threat of a bite. Only by eventually stepping up with action to enforce its resolution will respect and influence be increased. France was never going to allow this, the US has the balls to do so.
I think France desperatly fears what may be exposed in relation to their complicity in developing WMD by equipment sales to Iraq. Thats why they don't want anyone in there, not because they give a toejam about the peace, or the Iragi people.
