Ok, maybe you know this but i did not, and i like IT. So you need some more distractions at work do you. Well to go along with all the screen shots loaded on your computer now you can have a desktop aircraft model. See CORGI diecast model aircraft at your local Walmart toy deptartment. This is what I found only $3.88.. WOW!!!

Sorry i can not figure out how to post a pic (jpg) of the aircraft model. But you can see it at http://www.corgi-shop.com

The model is a very close match to that of the P51 color scheme used in Aces High. The diecast model is very well detailed. I found the model in the toy section of Walmart for $3.88. (I do not work for Walmart). The on-line store price is $24.95, some other sites have other models as low as $5.98. I thought aviation nuts that decorate there surroundings with Aces High Pic would love this addition to there collection.

not bad..
The best "small" diecast I've found is the Matchbox set of collectable planes. Limited selection, but good detail at 1:72. About $15.

The Corgi 1/72 diecast planes are pretty nice. The casting is a little "toylike" but the painting and markings are very well done. I've got Jan Zumbach's RF-D "Donald Duck" displayed in my cube. :)
What I'm really looking for is a Luftwaffe Tornado with 321 Tigers markings. A couple of old squaddies drive those birds.

Hey thanks for posting the pic. thats the one. (P51-Cripes Mighty)
I think AH should look into adding some diecast models to thier novelty items. I can go the the gamestop stores and get many figurines that star in games, why not add this to the shelves of similar stores. Just thinking out loud.

Those are some nice miniature die-cast models. I went to Wal Mart after reading this post and bought four of them for $3.88 each. I got the F4U, the P-51, the 109, and the P-38.
They are "heavy" for their size...about 4" wingspan, with nice paint job, decal and cockpit details. These are some of the nicest miniatures I've seen, and are definitely worth more than the asking price of $3.88. Not toys, but respectable shelf pieces.
Thank you for the information Robclark!!!
