Anyone know how to take an ATI 9700 OEM and OC it to pro standards?
Is it just changeing the clock cycles for VPU and Ram?
Just curious ever where i read is that the only difference between the 2 are those settings!

The stock 9700 has slower ram as well. Sometimes it might not matter, other times it will if a ram is marginal.
I have no clue how to over-clock video cards, as that is one area I prett much stay away from.

Well just a note i popped it in my system last night just to see how it runs. Well system reads it as a 9700pro with the newest Catalyst drivers seem to run fine, but does need some fine tuning and tweaking. Now im sure some one gonna jump up and say It might read it as a 9700pro but its not running at that speed! Ok if so is there any OC sofware out there to make it run at Pro speeds?
Thanks in advance

If you're not sure if you can flash your card's bios forget it.
If you're not scared then go to This Site (http://www.radeon2.ru/radedit_eng.html). Flashing BIOS is always risky business so think twice before takeing that route.
