"NO WAR IN IRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaa aaaa" (splat)
-
Does this qualify as the first American Casualty of the war?
Too bad. That's a pretty high price to pay to make a statement.
-
Hardly warrants gloating over.
-
Rip-
You are completely wrong in writing that above statement.
Over time, I've some to repect you, but this is above the top.
We all know the guy hit the water. So the correct sound would be "Splash", not "Splat".
Please try to be more careful in future posts.

Ahh, but internal organs don't know the difference, those that sustain life went "Splat" internally.
-
Yes, but said organs sound would be muffled by the inpact with the inside of the body cavity, thereby producing a "Sploot" sound.
I propose we conduct some empirical experiments to determine the correct auditory effect.
If you can procure the recording devices, I have a short list of "Volunteers" we can use for the tests.
-
Actually ;) when falling from the height of the Golden Gate Bridge, hitting water has similar effects to hitting concrete from that height.
So Ripsnort was correct with the term "SPLAT"! :p

Okay, there is only one way to settle this: Choose from the following sound bites which way you think it sounded:
Sounded like:
Exhibit A (click here) (http://members.aol.com/cosmosplat/sounds/splat.wav)
Exhibit B(click here) (http://www.vineland.org/webart/SOUNDS/WAV/BEEPS/CARTOON/CSPLAT.WAV)
Exhibit C(click here) (http://sneezy.stanford.edu/sounds/unused/DECAPIT.WAV)

My vote is C

D

Most definitly "C".
Short, fast sound of an impact. Though a follow up gurgling, sinking sound would be perfect, I understand you have limited resources to work with,
Oh, BTW, you realize we're all going to hell, right?
-
A C B D in that order I think it was.. Im pretty sure there are 4 limbs of the body..

I hear its more fun there anyway. We're just going to have to be careful we dont fall into any bottomless pits when hanging protest banners because we're sick of the food.
-
That kinda insensitive Ripsnort.
hehe, D gets my vote

You know my weaknesses, don't you? (GOT to have milk...) Strangely enough, we consume 6 gallons a week.

I'm voting C, followed by B.
