yesterday i was half a way between an enemy airfield and a frendly base.
my engine collapsed, and i was about 3K alt... enought to bail out.
In this one case is better take a ditch or try to use parachute...
And in case it's better bail out , Is there a way to esteem if im going to be captured before i'll jump from my airplane:rolleyes:...
be captured or be safe depends from what.... proximity to field and stucture or closeness to GV, enemy/frendly force:confused:
Plz clear my dubts :D Thanks

If you try to dead-stick land it, you will increase your knowledge of your plane, in particular, and the difficulties of landing without power, in general.
If you bail, you gain nothing.

Like Oldman said most would consider it better to try a dead stick landing if for no other reason than to learn how your plane handles with damage, which may come in handy when you actually have a chance to make it back to base.
A "sucessful bail", "ditch", or "capture" depends on proximity to enemy fields or ships. If you have a friendly field closer you will ditch/bail if enemy fields are closer you will be captured.
Also if you care about score you will get less of a penalty for a ditch than for bailing out.
On the other hand a lot of people just like to pop a cold one and ride their flaming wrecks into the ground and go out in a blaze of glory. :)

Augering gets u a fresh plane quicker.
Game the game. Who cares about score.
I only deadstick to the next field if i have a fair ammount of scalps (kills)

Since there are no trees to contend with when ditching, I'd just put her down at the flattest spot I could find. I generally don't bother bailing.
