So... they knew they were illegally, but only now are they rounding them up.

Hmmm... kinda makes you wonder just how many Saudis the FBI knew about before 911.

The FBI just got the authority to get these folks. Illegal alliens were the responsibility of the INS.

So the FBI is only just now "rounding them up" because they just got the authority to do so.

The question is why has the INS been so incompetent for so many years.

The INS has never seemed to be able to handle its responsibilities. For what ever reason.

wish they'd take all of the illegals out of the US and not just the Iraqi ones.

Well you need to ask the INS about that. The FBI is doing the job tasked of them.
