These were taken last year with my old 2.1 mega pixel Toshiba PDR-M4 camera. Special thanks to Tom Nightengale for giving me access to actually sitting in the cockpit for these pics!
Location from The Air Museum "Planes Of Fame" in Chino California.

Looks like this airplane has relatively all-new guages... and DEFINITELY new radios (c:
Most of the warbirds I have seen have been similarly updated.
Nice detail pics of the knobs/trims etc.

i hope the creators of AH will look at these pictures and change the knobs, guages, ect when they release AH2.
-
guessing the seat looks different because the armour plating has been removed?
-
It's a totally different seat, which is not surprising considering the "factory-equipped" one was designed with the idea that the pilot would have a dingy and a parachute strapped to his back (it was literally a "bucket seat").

Seat is not WWII factory seat. This one is post war modified.
Instrument panel is also post-war modified. K14 gunsight has been removed and the 3 gauges have been put into its place and that compass is jet era.
Actually, that whole instrument panel is post-war. Some gauges look to be original, but the panel itself, and at least 2 of those gauges are post war, not to mention that the dash-mounted radio appears to be solid-state technology with digital display.
In any event, great pics!
