I don't know the story behind this burning Jug. But what kind of bombs are those?
-
dunno but it looks like some sort of anti personel cluster bomb.
looks kinda jury rigged at that!
-
Mk.41 frag bombs. Weight 20 lbs each.
My regards,
Widewing

Gutsy of that ground guy to stand beside the bundle as it teeters back and forth.
-
gutsy, or stupid? The training we receive today is if 1.1 is engulfed in flames, there is no fire fighting..just running
-
lot of foam on the plane.. .fire already out/just smoking?
-
Looks like one of my landings
-
Since there is pierced matting down it is most likely on some landing ground in France. (notice the Invasion stripes) A collapsed landing gear while taxiing or during warm-up since the prop is not bent back too much.
-
Too much?
Its back 90 degrees!
OK...at least 80 degrees.

I go with MiloMorai, the jug is only standing on the starboard gear, must have gotten blown tire or anything?
