Exactly this is war and i hate to see that pictures on TV, although they are nessesary. :(


I would name it 'Shock and Awe' :(


This war wasn't nessasary. Every single person dieing in Iraq,  no matter which side he's on, is 1 person to much!

Your Propaganda minister was  lying before this avoidable war and is lying now.


There is heavy resistance from weak Iraq forces


Why? Thought they all hate Saddam?

Probably they do but they are patriots same as you guys when an aggressor invades their country.

Doesn't seem they fight for Saddam, most likely they fight for their country.

US troops will win? Sure they will but what a price on lives and political dammage :(

America was threatened by Iraq in no way , it was just plain ridiculous, it's a classic 'Angriffskrieg'

POW's are a fact of any armed conflict. There were going to be American POW's just as there are iraqi POW's. The fact that you couldn't wait to use them as a means of voicing your political tripe is , frankly, disgusting.

Your post is about as demeaning to soldiers as the iraqi news "coverage". I am offended by your intent as well as your poorly chosen manner of conveying your "message".


On a side note, Skuzzy, I think this thread deserves locking and I for one can certainly do without any more "insights" from blitz on the bbs.

does the Al Jazeera TV have a website? Would be interesting to see the war through their perspective.
I doubt Iraqui TV has a website since they would require more camels to run another generator to start their C64 computer :)

I don't score points Dowding.

I hate this ****kin nonsence war, many young people dyin for no good reason there.

And the collateral dammage: Old people, women. children, what for.

I'm none of this weapon technology lovers.


War's always a bad thing but this 1 is on top of lying stories.

blitz,..it is pretty clear to everyone how you feel about what is going on in Iraq.

Rehashing it every hour is not doing anything but cause more conflicts on this board than what is going on in Iraq.
