Title: Iraqi's using surrender-then-fire again
Post by: davidpt40 on March 23, 2003, 02:00:10 PM
Iraqis pretending to surrender or dressed as civilians are firing on U.S. troops again. They wait until the troops are in very close proximity and pull weapons from hidden locations.

This happened in the last war too.  Iraqi tanks turned their turrets to the rear, drove to U.S. positions, swung their turrets around, and killed at least 5 marines when an LAV was destroyed by a T-72.

...and the handsomehunkes actually think they will accomplish something other than causing us to view white flags as anything other than target markers.

...or actually putting an end to the mass surrenders of their troops. Now if an Iraqi wants to surrender, he'll think about it twice, since he might be shot at anyway.

I fear the Iraqi generals have entered the "anything goes" phase.

i bet its really messing with our troops heads. thats the entire point of it. I know alot of you guys would have no problems shooting someone with their hands in the air, but im sure most guys out there would have some kind of morale problems doing that.

we operate in a reactive mode.. under the circumstances, the reaction to this at the field level will be noticed first by iraqi's.

Fry their asses..

IF Any ******* wants to surrender, he better Lay down on the ground,.. take off all his clothes (as to see they are hiding no weapons) and have a gun to his head the entire time the "captive" process is occuring.

After the Fuk is on the ground Tied up, and obviously barren of any weapons, the pos should be thrown in a hole with a dozen soliders standing from above with 16's aimed at em the entire time.

You can never be too carefull... they have made it come to this.

How many bullets you think we have over there?.. 1 for every person that wants to act up?

Lets use em.
