Title: Civil War Map
Post by: MANDOBLE on May 09, 2001, 11:02:00 AM
What about an arena with all the bases mixed up?. So, no just a clear and extense geographical area asigned to each country. An inmediate side effect will be that knowing wich side is attacking a determinate base will be almost impossible.

I love the idea, but sadly I think HTC will stick to the tried and true.

I could see it for an evening maybe... but I don't really think a whole month of this would go over well.

There's has been more than one civil wars, and I'm confident that the people involved or affected think of it as The Civil War  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif).

But, gotta admit; love the idea of straffing enemy troops at Gettysburg. I'ød have to be a southerner of course; cannot be with the "good" winning side  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

Grant is in for a big time surprise methinks  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

StSanta,
General Grant wasn't at Gettysburg.  The Union commander of the Army of the Potomac at Gettysburg was General Meade.

General Lee was, of course, commanding the Army of Northern Virginia for the Confederacy at Gettysburg.
