I've spent a total of zip, nada, zilch.
I flew a Tempest once so far but had to land because wifey-pooh needed some help at the same time.
I've just enjoyed the Yak-9's and again the P-47 too much to want anything else so far. I'll spend some tonight with the squad perhaps.

Spent abut 210 perks on AR234, none shot down, but lost two to disco's, and one to a slight mountain in my path while taking a crap.
21-0 K/D in Tempest, lost two to bad fuel conservation techniques and stalled one on approach(one death, but doesn't show in statistics)
Still haven't died in a perk plane by anothers guns.
I still have 2 AR234's in the hangar, and about 9 tempests still awaiting me.
My best to date K/D ratio is with that uber-51, 42 to 1 K/D ratio back in tour 11 I think.. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

zero. I can't even give em away in my squad. drex won't take em cause he allready has enough to stay in a perk ride the rest of his life if he chose. Yep... drex in a perk ride forever... what a great system.

I smashed one Tempest and one Ta152. The first one due to early misjudgement of La7 steroid level. Ta, due to getting low to field deffense, and some great shooting by tachel's B26.
I've flown the only one Arado I can afford just once, one Zigrat mission.....hehehehe....I remember about 7-8 Ar-232 taking off just coincident with a Bish attack on the T/O base (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) Was the most scary mission up to date, but I was lucky enough not to scratch the paint of the beauty (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) Those Bish b**t*rds never thank us back for that Perk Point galore!

I lost a Ta152 and a Tempest. Actually I dont like the perked planes. I dont even know how many perks I own, maybe 2,000 (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
BTW, if I want oustanding a/c there are free Doras, 109G-10s and La-7s (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Traded my VulchHog in for the 109G-2,
and having a blast with it.

Lost 2 arrados - one to disco while I
was in landing circuit, the other when I
exited plane to use different runway - Whoops
- that was ruled a ditch!
Lost 2 tempests: 1 in a foolish 1-on-4 fight,
and the other to a low altitude stall when I let my fangs get a little too long. Expensive
lessons. The cost of the plane makes me
too nervous.
But I've had the most fun in the unperked
P51B - a beauty, and more potent than people seem to realize. Its nice to have a p51 with
camo. Not too effective against buffs though.
I have shot down one arrado (in p51d at the
time), and one tempest.
Incidentally, I "lobbed some on" to an arrado from a P51B, but he flew out of range before
he took critical damage - so the guns do make
a difference at times.

I'm hoping our squadmate Blitz posts here, last count about 3 weeks ago he was well over 4000 perkies for fighters alone!

I've used perk planes a few times. The only times I really feel motivated to do so is for buff intercepts. So far my perk points have gone up about 200 points since the introduction of perk planes. That's with 3 perk plane losses.
I seldomely see perk planes in the arena... but don't take my word for it, how about some stats (stats are always a good thing)

These stats are only tallied since the release of 1.06. Tour 14 stats accumulated prior to 1.06 have already been subtracted from the totals.

Lost one Ar234 due to missleading information on climbspeed (ditched on takeoff...broke wheels 2 inches away from the runway)

Got rammed by a warping Dorka in my Tempest.
Got vulched in my Arado on landing.
Lost another Arado to a disco.
And was landing another Arado when the arena reset occured.

Lost 1 Arado to a Disco, another when switching to a different runway. Lost 1 Tempest after upping one to take into a furball.

Noticed recently that I'd lost 70 fighter perkies for no apparant reason.
Suspiciously, exactly 70.
Checking the kill stats confirmed the worst...
I must have selected a Tempest by accident when I meant to take a Typhoon. And never actually realised...<Sigh>
In general though, I'm just too scared to fly them (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) Besides which, I don't generally feel the need to anyway.

Lost 3 152's 1 from joystick locking up on takeoff, which has been fixed now "Stupid MS product"
Lost 2 Tempests both to buffs at 18K.
Lost 1 Arado on take off do to Joystick locking up, seemed to happen more frequent on perk's then non perk rides.
IN all I have a total of 7 sorties in them and I think 2 or 3 kills, I fly to cautiously in them and started to collect the perk points, saving for a 162 (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

I posted before that I would not be likely to use perks points. I don't care for the system and have no desire to fly the wonder rides. I haven't used any perk points nor do I expect to at this time. I would much prefer my $30.00 gave me access to all the planes in the game to be flown when ever I wished.

Tried a several Arado's.. blew myself to tiny pieces toggling the ords when I thought I was lightin the JATO pods. (twice) Finally got one up and died after goin down down DOWN (WHOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHHH) fast and low doin hanger passes thru acks while draggin half the rook AF. (bein a cuddlinghunk)
I think thats when somebody remarked you could check fly it off line or in the training arena.. Oh well. I never confessed to bein smart, yah know; so I told 'em since the puny eggs didn't knock the fediddlein hangers down, mebbe the damn fans would blow 'em down...
Did have one good ride. After what seemed like an eternity I got to 10k on a grab out and got pounced on by a pony. I put the nose down and toggled what I tought wuz the ords (again) and surprise, surpise... I found out why that climb rate sucked. None.......found out what the ta-152 could do below 25K while fighting it in dora, tempest, should just be faster version of the tiffie, thinner wing. And the arado carries a small payload, I have more fun flying the JU-88. so saving perk points for whatever may come in the future.

Lessee: two Ta-152 sorties against bombers. Two one ping radiator hits.
One arado lost due to the "Spawn off runway" bug. Spawned, saw mountain ahead of me, exited "You have ditched".
One arado lost due to disco.
The Arado is fun, I guess; especially when you just want to taunt people. I had one sortie where as I was bombing, a typhoon started chasing me, dragged him around, turning just enough to keep him close.
Then I popped a 180, and watched him drool as he closed in

Wooosshhh! I hit the RATO bottles (dweebery, I know), and explode into space.
He got so pissed off, he chased me for 100 miles. He was last seen with a sputtering motor somewhere by the giant squid.
Landed that one.

Also spent zero. Took the 152 up two or three times this tour primarily to intercept HQ raids. Got an assist but the buffs were mostly dead by the time I got there (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif). Finally got enough bomber perks to "waste" 2 Arados.. how did I get those points? By being in 2 resets this tour.

Well I have lost about 210 in the arado doe to pilot eror, non to combat and I have flow it quiet a bit.
As far as the ftr's non but i have only used the ta 152 once and rtb ed in it.

Crashed 1 Arrado on landing. Got Killed in 1 tempest. Total of 140 points lost. Flew Arrado maybe on 6 successful missions was never in danger. Flew TA 152 maybe 4 times killed one astro 17 at 25k was a blast. I'm very careful in the perk planes, except that one dumb tempest sortie. I like it costing something if you die! Makes just landing your sortie a victory!

After two cruel deaths in 152 and one stupid in tempest,400 are left over.The only reason i spare them is to loose them in a (i hope so)soon coming Me-262.

I've flown the Arado about 10 times and like it a lot, real challenge to land....full flaps really slow that muther down!
Only lost one Arado. Dumb, I was screeching ahead of a bunch of people on take off and was paying more attention to the chat buffer saying "Wow BD5Pilot, what a airplane!"...so I thought I'd nose her good and high and fire the RATOs. I clicked and heard that awful "chik-chik" bomb release sound and next thing you know, Im in cloud city, floating around with a harp and hanging out with St Peter (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
Havent done any of the perked fighters, none of them really impress me and I do not understand why they are perked. But, that's a whole different thread!
