Looks like a HEAT Anti tank round....

and yes it will fry whoever is inside a tank or armored vehichle with hot explosive gasses...  When that round explodes it shoots the explosion thru a small hole in the tank...  Theory has it will cook whatever is in side....  Ammo explosion etc...


Thats my take on it ....

BTW thats a really nice photo.  Quality is excellent....

no funked that is a probe to get past reactive armor, still an HE shape charge round.  the little noodle sets off the reactive aromor right before the charge slams home.

i used to be a Dragon gunner, every time you fired one you would smell like burnt hair for a while....   :)

Umm yeah it's a probe but it's on the front of an HEAT round.
It's not a sabot penetrator, even the probe makes it look a little like one.
And it's a Milan not a TOW.  :)

NP I figured out that you must have read it wrong.  Thanks for the info.  I'm just a candy bellybutton civilian wannabee anyways.  Biggest thing I ever fired was a .30-30  :)
