I hope you're kidding. I just went to Pravda.RU for the first time, and I will never visit that rag again. At least the western sites that people claim to be biased quote reports from both sides. Pravda is nothing more than an editorial page touted as world news.

try these
reuters (http://www.reuters.com/home.jhtml)

bbc (http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/index.shtml)

for some questionable but still reliable reporting........

WorldNetDaily (http://worldnetdaily.com/) (this site has links to many others' reports. judge em as they come)

Drudge report (http://www.drudgereport.com/) (this site reports everything that the mainstream media won't)

Hehe....in College (early 80's) I used to read the old Moscow News at our campus library......man, it was always good for a laugh!

Come to think of it, that's the difference isn't it?  Between the old Soviet culture (which Borada waxes nostalgic about) and the culture in the U.S.

I mean, my own college library carried the best propaganda rags the Soviets had to offer (during the Cold War).  Yet, could you get that kind of unfettered access to the typical U.S. rags in the Soviet run state?  As accessible as your local library?

At this wasn't some major east or west coast school, where it would be more expected.  Just a regular little Midwest University.

Anyway, kind of brought me back to my drunken college days.
Don't ask me how I mistakenly stumbled into the campus library, let alone actually read something in there :)
