Title: Callousness!
Post by: N1kPaz on March 25, 2003, 10:08:54 PM
I have been extremely critical of certain European countries in the last few weeks. To those I have offended...and I know there are several...I truly appologize for my insensitivity towards your opinions. I am not the only person on this BBS who has been well....i guess you could say..."MEAN", but irregardless of that, my actions were unacceptable.
 I feel bad.:(
The reason is simple. I over reacted to criticism of my country. Which, I must say, I am very sensivite about. I am like alot of Americans who watched the planes slam into the towers. I feel like I have been attacked, in a way, personally.  My way of life, my people, my government. Naturally, being an extremely hot headed dude, I get fired up and want to slit Osama's throat, and nuke everything in sight. Sounds cool...in a game or a fictional story, but its not realistic.:(
I accept the positions of our critics. I do not agree, but I vow not to disrespect allies of our country (despite this current disagreement) on this BBS again. For one thing. Its bad for business, and I owe it to HTC (you guys know why) not to promote or participate in topics which obviously chase potential and current customers away. Its not cool.
Anyway...Im sorry for being such an arrogant butthead.
I will do my best not to offend anyone from this point on, and I vow to be respectful of the opinions and ideas of each and every member of this BBS. Yes..I have had a few brewskies..

To all who I have offended...I ONCE AGAIN extend my apologies.

The largest market in the world is the USA.  The entire world could boycott and it wouldn't be noticed by the USA.  The USA would survive, but the rest of the world would be denied the best the world can produce,USA products and services.

dude...i was born in west virginia. your lucky i dont end every sentence with two question marks...

from dictionary.com

Usage Note: Irregardless is a word that many mistakenly believe to be correct usage in formal style, when in fact it is used chiefly in nonstandard speech or casual writing. Coined in the United States in the early 20th century, it has met with a blizzard of condemnation for being an improper yoking of irrespective and regardless and for the logical absurdity of combining the negative ir- prefix and -less suffix in a single term. Although one might reasonably argue that it is no different from words with redundant affixes like debone and unravel, it has been considered a blunder for decades and will probably continue to be so.

Oops...:)
