Wanna send them back , too ? ;)
Hang, I do salute your patriotism (no irony here) but it is misplaced somehow.

or just plain mean spirited and wrong
-
i am actually trying to buy more french and german products in spite of all the idiots that think a boycott will do anything. Im even flying air france to europe this summer instead of delta because people are whineing about it.
-
Not me, I have made an effort to not buy French products.
-
Glenlivet (scotch).
AAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH HHHHHH!!!!!
-
You still here blitz? Guess the Germans always did have trouble figuring out where they weren't wanted.
-
i don't play il2
-
no, cause I never heard of it.
-
Hangtime ur a baiter of pathetic crap and surely one of the guys who's responsible for the demise of culture in the O'Club.
-
"mean spirited and wrong?"
"stupid morons?"
whelp.. i know how i feel about folks that support saddam. the two quotes above cover it.
-
dudel, i won't type the reply that comment deserves.
-
I doubt that today in the international linked economic world there are products made by one nation.
This boycott-nonsense is sometimes funny.
I read something about a proud US-patriot who sold his Volkswagen because it was made in Germany - only to buy a Chrysler. :D
I will continue to buy GOOD products - and I dont care if they are build in Germany, USA or whatever country.
-
french wine, evian, perrier made in switzerland?
just squelching THESE three soley made in france items would pinch the french.
already own a french product? why burn it? that WOULD be stupid. yer just torching your money. buying a NEW french replacement? that would be supporting french intrests. Already have IL2? Enjoy. looking to buy a copy? don't. get a pal to rip a copy for yah, or buy one used. plenty of places to find that kinda stuff.
think about where yer money goes.. who it benefits. plenty of service companys work on french products.. without a dime of that money going to france. nothin wrong with gettin the oil changed in yer citroen, or loadin up that already purchased copy of IL2...
buy american. think american. of course, if yer not an american, i'd expect you to vist this thread and tell us how stupid we are.
have a nice day.

Every American I talked too here in Montreal...all say the same thing....the FOOD....the WOMEN....the WINE.
If ya gonna boycott the French...please refrain from coming to Montreal or Quebec city....all things are French :D
but ya gonna miss out on some FINE food, women an wine.
btw....just a little side note....soon ya won't have to boycott anything.....closing the borders like you have will certainly do a fine job by itself
we here on this side of the border are having alot of trouble crossing in....yet none have trouble coming here......

Hey!!!
My wife is 1/2 French! So does this mean that I only have to pay attention 1/2 the time? Only do 1/2 the honey do's? ...

I avoided Montreal and Quebec BEFORE I started avoiding French products.
Closing our borders is hardly paranoia. I haven't seen any major terrorist attacks in Canada lately. I have seen many of the terrorists in the US enter through Canada, though. Hence the need for updated security.

I've been to Montreal and Quebec. I thought they were both beautiful cities. I just found the majority of people to be extremely rude. I'd much rather go to South America. It costs only a little more to fly than to drive to Montreal, and it is cheaper. Plus I've found the people to be much nicer.

now that is the 1st time I ever heard that about my city.....
woow guess there's always a 1st.....

Travel to the states and ask almost anyone that goes there. At least those of us from New England. They'll tell you they love the city, they just wish the majority of the residents weren't there.

New York City is without a doubt king of the rudes.
And of course the Bruins suck. Have ever since Bobby Orr and...
OHWAIT!!! He's one of those Canadian types (and hence a Saddam loving terrorist supporter for being so)
I think the NHL should send all Russian, Czech and Canadian players back home!
;)
Yeah, NY'ers can be pretty rude, too. I avoid that city as well.
I don't watch the Bruins.
Why should we send all Russian, Czech, and Canadian players home? I have many friends from Russia and Canada that I think are very nice people. I have nothing against any of those places.

apparently they don't spend a lot of time on English in French language schools.
Point out to me where I said any of that.

NYers are not rude. Well, not on purpose...
It's just we're here working, meeting deadlines, and we keep bumping into tourists staring up at the Purty Buildings.
Plus, because of you people, they got rid of all the hookers!
Times Square is the New Disney land!
Back in the day, you could get a dime bag and a BJ...(Not from the same person) for $20.00!!! You could get a Teenage run away at the Bus terminal for the price of a small handgun!
Now I can't even park my car for less than $40.00!!
Seriously though, we New Yorkers can be rude. No doubt about it. I think it has something to do with a superiority attitude, a fast paced life style, and a crowded city.
If you run into me though, I'll take you for a ride, and find you a dime bag and a hooker!
:D

I'm not sure how you will though when there are hell of a lot more people protesting against the US did than there are who support it. Witness the 100''s of thousands that participated in rallies in individual cities across the world over thge past several weekends. In comparison to the tiny fraction of same that have showed support for the US/UK actions. If those war protestors who have already been moved enough to actively show thier disdain for what the US/UK has done then IMO any boycott of US products could have a real impact and will make this boycott of Frenchwar a laughing joke. ( and this answers Ack Ack's question to me from another topic at same time).
Have at it. Have your "civil disobedience". It's your right. Impede my rights, and you'll get the same I gave that Harvard student.

Hey Wabbit I really would suggest only to buy US products. US citizens buy US (we made the same with the Jews long time before and u know it was soooo cool  "Deutsche kaufen deutsch").
And never buy a computer again (to many chinese parts in it) but wait its only France and Germany and no other country thats against war.
-
We'll see who gets the last laugh...especially if as much as one single French hand grenade made post 91 is found in Iraq...
As for not buying French stuff...granted it is only my wallet, and one wallet will not really do any difference.
But it starts somewhere, and I will do my utmost to get my friends to boycott French stuff too.
And you can bet your *** that if I find myself in a workplace where I'll have anything to say about matters, I will NEVER do business with any French company if there is a choise in the matter.
You reap what you saw French guys...you had your time in the media spotlight with mr Chirac. You threw your sticks in the US wheels, delayed the invasion for months, effectively forcing them to invade at the worst possible time (summer in the desert). Whether you understand that or not, that delay will cost lots of life.
Now face the consequences.

So. Since you 'extended' from the merge and all I would see were your dwindling tailights I would have had no recourse but to holler some tasteless expressions and derogatory ancestral remarks in your direction.
Actually, I stopped. As I said before, the police that were there trying to keep order apologized to me, then dragged him off as he was screaming insults. I doubt he would have taken a swing at me.
Next time I'll add a few MPH to my speed, see what happens. Dang speed limit is only 20 mph there, though.
