Was the A5 used in December 1944?

Confirmed on perk usage - when it's needed.

Actually, the RAF aircraft I want in particular is the Mosquito.

(Yes, I know you 1337 Luftwaffe fliers know that anybody who likes RAF aircraft is a no-skill-****fire-dweeb:rolleyes: )

Effing idiots.

Give us the Brits!:D
Title: Not that I would fly them much, but....

Seems the counterpart to the Ta152 ought to be included as an Allied perk plane.
Bring in the Tempest, please.......

better yet - take out the ta152

like the perks but they should be much heavier - at least 10 higher

what does "Full Friendly DAR " actualy mean?

The 152 is a pos, it neads no special counter in this set up.

Why is the ME-109G-10 perked when the P-51B isn't? From my sources the G-10 was pretty widespread in the LW at this time.

Also is the Dar height correct? 1500 ft.?

Got no problem with Mossie just limit them to back bases. Spitfire ok also as they were deployed in the British TAC AF. Same for TA-152 and AR-234 wouldn't have found them deployed forward IMO.

Only way you are going to limit their useage is limit them to certain fields.

Hmmm the G10 shouldnt be perked if there is an unperked P51B.

Id say let the G10 and P51B go unperked while keeping the Dora perked along with the P51D.

I see no need for the TA152 in this scenario at all, go ahead and remove it. :D

Andijg,

The problem with limiting the Mosquito to the back bases in AH is that it has a shorter range than the Spitfire in AH.

In reality the Mosquito had a range of 1200 miles on internal fuel and 1800 miles with drop tanks compared to the Spitfire's 500 miles on internal fuel and 850 miles with a drop tank.

In AH the Spitfire has a one minute greater endurance than the Mosquito without a drop tank and two minutes more with external fuel.

Shouldn't this problem with the Mosquito be put on the aircraft "bug" list?

Seriously?

Oboe,

I did put it there, with a detailed description of my testing and data, six months ago.

Looks great.  I like these late euro setups.  I hope to get some heavy bombers running on tuesdays and thursdays.  I hope some of your ta152s and such will intercept.

Keep em in there as they are the best high alt german plane (g10s lack the punch).  I would like to run some realistic bomber ops so having a real plane to intercept us will be nice.

this is a fun setup.  :)  I had some good sorties in the G-6 last night, and a couple of bad ones (usually with Shane ending the flight for me!  lol)

I had a good time doing some impromptu winging with Eagler.  Felt wrong to clear a Gator fan when he's in a 109 though.  It's like everything I'm normally against!  :D

Why is everyone crying that the G-10 is perked?  I can't even get enough perk points to get a 51D... Get frickin banged now there are so many axis on.. I don't care about the numbers... I am not worried about scores I would just like to have a fighting chance against some 109's and 190's... either way... your dead if they both are in the area.. seems like people are vulching a little more now just to get the points... I don't know anymore...this CT is just starting to become frustrating and not even fun anymore.

The numbers were even last time I was there, perhaps flying allied so much has changed your perception about what even numbers meant.  And just this morning I kept getting banged by 2 or 3 and even 4 P47D11 and P51D, I shot down 8 of them in that one sortie all in little slow bellybutton Bf109G6.   And yea it was the same G6 that killt your 30k altdweeb P51 just an hour ago. :)

Numbers have been nearly dead even everytime I have been on for a couple of weeks (excluding squad nights).

Anyway, to get off the whining, I think we should all plan something special for tuesday.  I am going to try to get the vf27 to do a large bombing raid with escort provided by the checkertails and some other interested souls.

What does this mean?  This means that guys that would like to run a really cool intercept mission in ta152s or whatever fits your fancy should get on the otherside near 10pm est on tuesday.   We can set it up to make sure we run into each other.

Target will be a factory, our success will hinge on destroying it, and yours will be on stopping us.  Sound good?

Also, since 10 or so guys will be in b17s (that means a sky with 30 b17s +escort) dont go screaming about the numbers come tuesday.  Just pay attention and make sure you have alt when we show up.

If my squad goes for this, I will make sure everybody knows whats up on tuesday so hopefully nobody will be on channel 1 crying.

First off Gunnerz, I wasn't at 30k, second of all you fail to mention the 190 that was there with you... and that has nothing to do with what I was saying... seems like if you dont furball at 15k, with your hair on fire your a dweeb in CT... I don't care anymore... your damned if you do and damned if you don't in here... so I will not comment anymore.

great setup!

51b doesn't need perks but the others should be higher .. one sortie in a g6 can get you over 6 points alone... wish I felt as comfortable in the g10 as the g6 .. got over 120 fighter points and don't use em :)

Well you were at least 25k, I was at 15K and the 190 even lower. Not to mention that you were in a much much faster plane regardless of that 10k alt advantage. Neither of us should ever gotten even a shot at you, but you messed up. I think you are too used to flying with a 2vs1 or 3vs1 numbers advantage and in a gaggle with your large squad, your inabilty to manage 2 slower poor turning 10k fighters under you in a P51B demonstartes that amply. What does that have to do with your first post - well I think it certainly demonstrates your skewed perception of what a fair and even and balanced fight is.

Ah yea STREAM14 I see where you learned to fight. Your CO runs away from lone stukas - no wonder he whined so much about Bf109G2... :p

Great oldman, Andi and the JG3 (jester) are planning an intercept, so if you want to fly axis hook up with them shortly before 10est pm.

13th Sentai has squad nite on Tuesdays.  I will see if Key wants to get in on this since we normally try to fly axis in the CT.
