(also posted in Hardware/software forum) I'm using a Saitek X45 HOTAS and CH analog pedals plugged in to an analog joystick/gameport. Windows XP Pro recognizes both, and both function in Gaming Options in Win. AH sees the Pedals, but shows only zeroes for the axis levels, not recognizing any motion. I have tried identifying the pedals as a joystick, as recommended, and dl'd the latest CH analog drivers which makes them show up as pedals. AH sees them either way, but won't recognize any motion. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I love the X45 setup, but hate the built in rudder and want my pedals back. :) (BTW, this setup was working previously under Win98SE)

if all else fails... you could try a gameport to USB adapter from radio shack, about $15 u believe.
Ask about it in the arenas I know there are some people who use these

Ironically SKurj, I think I was the one who first publicized the adapter device, about two joysticks back, after I stumbled across it while desperately looking for a solution to a similar dilemma, but damned if I can find the thing now. I was considering buying another one, but I don't think that is the problem. Previously, the pedals wouldn't even show up in Windows, thus necessitating the adapter. In my current situation, they show up in Windows, testing and calibrating just fine. AH is the only place where they don't work, even though they show up there. It has me baffled. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Did you calibrate in game after install? Untill they are calibrated in the game they dont show imput. If you havent calibrated try it.

Simple question, did you assign it the proper role? In my case it didn't show and activity till I assigned the rudder axis to the pedals and then it became active.

I didn't know you could mix USB (x45) and game port stuff (CH rudder) Is there others out there that have this working on a XP machine ?
