Well not really,
Saddam was to speek to his people 30. min ago, but all they got was a read statment with the usual drivel.
Guess he was to busy on line to travelosity.com to get to the studio
Getting hard to believe he is still sucking air.

Intelligence stated about credible evidence, that all the 3 videos (including the black glassed one)released after the attack of Saddam were recorded in same room and in short intervivals, bossibly days before the bombing happened. I heard something about same dirt stains visible in all of them and something else too. They said, that only the arrangement of furniture was changed in between the recordings.
Its really strange, that in this time of speculation and need for rallying his people this man doesent make any unspeculative appearances. It wouldnt be that hard, just having couple of time-and-place statements included would end all speculations.

Well, when there is doubt that he is alive he doesn't do something to make sure no one has any doubt about that fact. Maybe make a speech that actually addresses that fact and then stick his tongue out at the USA with the exclamation "neener!"

This same thing happened with Osama. We got a nice, high quality audio message from OBL with the usual crap but no visual. Perhaps he IS alive and his face was mangled? Ya think you're going to 'give hope' to your followers if you look like crap? Saddam could do the same, but sixpence has a point.

Curious how we bombed their TV and civil comms only after a whole week into the conflict. It would have matched nicely with a hypothsis "iraqi are fighting without saddam - let's pretend they do not know he is dead because we just had to destroy that TV station, it's not as embarrasing to our preditions".

I think it has more to do with the Alien Autopsy films that Saddam was going to broadcast, showing the truth about US black projects, Area 51 and Roswell.

If he is dead, why is Iraq resisting?
If he is dead, the reason they're resisting is two-fold. One, the remaining Iraqi leadership is going down with the ship because they'll have no place in the "new" Iraq. Two, if they admit he's dead then the Iraqi population would be more likely to revolt.
Just my opinion.

I don't buy into that strategy. Because you also want your people to believe you are alive. If your own people really begin to doubt the regime is still intact, it could prove troublesome.

What I mean by "keep us guessing" is an attempt to split the difference between making the Iraqi people (both those pro-and anti Ba'ath) believe that Sadam is alive, but not prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the coalition forces have managed to kill him.
Its an attempt to get the best of both worlds.
