Not trying to be a wiseass or anything, but do you not give a lot of information here,
Like system specs, any error msg's, what else is running etc... with out this type of information there is not a lot anyone can do to help you.
-
well i doubt its anything to do with my system specs since it was working ok before it started to restart comouter but here they are any way
500mhz cpu
256mb ram
windows xp pro
don't know what else you want fro mthe specs
i dont get any error messages and i dont have anything running in the background
but here basically what happens when i click in the program icon
the white screen shows to show thats its loading then the window resizes itself so a big thick black space displays down the side then it restarts the system

Ok,
Try to delete the video.cfg file in the aces high directory,
I think the file name is video.cfg it will be in the aceshigh root directory then restart the game you will need to re-configure the video but it should get you going.
Cheers

ummm i dont seem to have that file in the root directory so i thought i look in the other folders and noitced all the folder names were screwed up heres a screenie below

Do you have an anti-virus program installed on your computer?
SOB
-
yes but its never screwed anything up
and the av is avg
i'm gonna try a new install into a different folder name
-
Sorry about that it not in the root of aces high, but in the settings folder
-
i tried a new clean install this time installing it to the folder aces high instead of htc/aces high and i'm still having the same thing happen
-
Try reinstalling video card drivers
-
ok i found the problem my framerate for the game was for some reason set to unlimited got no idea how that happened but problme is fixed now

The files showing all screwy could be a corrupt HD data. Try using the XP check disk utility, I had a similar problem and it sorted it out.
