so i'm this FW during snapshot "First Strike" right, and upon my FIRST merge with the Allied buffs I compressed (I was trucking in a FWA8) and used my manual trim to make it nose up.  Big mistake!  Left wing and aileron gone.  Dang.  I am in trouble.  Oh well i'll still try to fly it.  I make two more passes at buff formations and JUST miss a gun solution due to my damaged plane both times.  They didn't even merit a snap shot, I was off by about 800'.  Well....like a newie dweeb I WAS able to get on the 6 of a formation (while being jumped by multiple P-47) and lo' and behold due to my vast SA ability, I am in the middle of the enemy buff formation, and was getting shot at by no less than 3 groups of b-17's.  With some manual trim, and a lot of rudder I snuggle up to a formations 6 o'clock (with the constant PING PING of the P-47's and the other buff gunners) and at about 600' out (I am JUST under the plane and working like mad to get the nose up) either the buff gunner opened up, or all the other bullets smacking into my FW started adding up, and trailing smoke and fire I go splashing into the drink.
Durn.
I never do well in these things.

Was still a blast, kinda.
I'll try harder next time.

LOL!  Glad you "kinda" enjoyed it and that you continue to keep trying in future snapshots!  ;)

Same snapshot last night. I'm in a P-47 at 30K, split-S right onto a 190's tail, compress, barely miss my shot, chop throttle, full rudder and up elevator to slow down, uncompress, and *POP*, I am back in the tower from that stupid instantaneous 20 g bug. I spent over 1/2 hour crossing that damed channel and self destruct with 30 seconds of enemy contact, sigh....

hehehehe thats the best part though.

The Pure PUCKER factor.
You think snapshot is tough? Try a TOD set of 3 frames.
