now that the "war" is almost over , german leader decides the war is ok.

That worries me.  They don't have a real good track record when it comes to choosing sides in shooting wars.

I have to agree with Animal. Half the "war" is rebuilding the nation after what they've been thru (psychologically and physically) with Saddam for 20 some years.

Not only that, but Iraq is looking very tasty to surrounding countries, sort of like a soft shell crab between moltings...

... and still more, Iraq is going to be a target magnet for Islamic extremists. I'm not preaching doom here, I just think that we shouldn't be premature in celebrating yet.
