Title: Coalition eats at Saddam's house
Post by: Martlet on April 07, 2003, 01:54:08 AM: The friendly coalition stopped by Saddam's palace for lunch, but unfortunately, Saddam couldn't make it.

Minister of Wishful Thinking says "It is simply not true. It was a hollywood set. America is in no way a threat to Iraq. It is simply rediculous".

Reporter: "How did you enter the palace?"

Marine: "Through the front gate."

Reporter: "And what are you doing now?"

Marine: "We were ordered to secure the area, we did, and now we're waiting. Its not a bad place, actually."

Reporter: "Waiting for what?"

Marine: "Orders to move elsewhere."

Reporter: "Are you aware of the reports that the Minister of Information is denying your presence here?"

Marine: "You know, we heard something about that. (pointing down the street) His office is right over there, I was thinking of dropping by later this evening to explain the situation to him."
