I was watching at lunchtime. They had a woman on who was discussing the tank round that hit the Palestine Hotel.

First she said that there is no way a sniper could have hit the coalition troops from there.. it is too far away.

Then when questioned about that she said that there are reporters in that hotel who have a lot more wartime experience than those spokespersons at the pentagon!

THEN she said that even IF it was a sniper, the response was not porportionate. IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:mad: If it were her son and she was given the choice of weapons he might use to get a sniper... do ya think she'd choose the one that let him stay out of harms way?

It was that Chritine Amapour IIRC.

Its an unfortunate tragedy, but those journalists knew the risks involved. They are nothing more than human shields. I would think they would be wise enough to realise this.

SARS will kill us all soon anyways....
