Title: A little more for the pilot to do

While me and DRILL were having some fun tonight, we thought of a really good idea. Maybe if you get shot down or if you feel like it, you should be able to run up to an ack and man it. Or you can find a static aircraft somewhere and take it over. <G>

Manned ack would be great. That way the Star Wars laser ack will be leveled out. Darth is not my father.

I think manned ack would be pretty cool, but at the moment, I'd rather HTC spend their time coding something else, since they've already given us the Oswind.

Besides, killing ack now is pretty darned easy...throwing the randomness of a player-controlled ack would muck up my jabo   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Yes...I could get shot down, then pull the camoflage off of the jet-powered turbo glider (armed with 4x20mm & 37mm cannons in turrets) that I stashed in the field the night before...lol (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Seriously,  It would be fun to grab an ack and shoot away.

yep.  love to be able to man an ack position.  would add to the game not knowing if the position were human or Ai too.
