Title: building AH/AH2 comp

Ok

I have decided on most of the components for my new puter now but.

Within the budget i have decided on i now have to choose between:

1) AMD athlon XP2400 and ATI radeon 9700 (nonpro)

or..

2) AMD athlon XP2500 Barton and ATI Radeon 9500PRO.

What combo should i go for? for AH it should be more than fine, but im thinking about AH2 when it comes and getting very smooooth framerates at 1024x768 and 1280x1024.

i say you get amd xp 2500 barton with ati radeon 9500 (GET THE PRO VERSION OF 9500). the radeon is 40% cheaper than 9700 pro and the performance gap between the the 9700 pro and 9500 pro is 10 percent
