Should USA set military parades everytime we win a war? If there was ever a military parade in USA here's what i want to see
*I wanna see M1A2 tanks roll through Times Square,New York
(http://www.battlefield.ru/tanks/is4/last_t10_2.jpg)
*I wanna see B-2A bombers, F-15, F-16, F-117, and even F-22 fly over through Times Square
(http://www.photogallery.ru/english/masters/markov/mk02l.jpg)
*I wanna see our troops (US) do "Goose-step" carrying M-16 Armalite with M4 grenade launchers attached to the M-16
(http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/38310000/jpg/_38310503_soldiers300ap.jpg)(http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/38356000/jpg/_38356315_troops3ap.jpg)

I bet that BORODA will love to see US do military parades

I'd like to see a victory parade through San Francisco. They should bring some live ammo in case the locals try anything.
-
tell the truth.. you wanna see chicks in skirts..

I think we should listen to boroda here and do san francisco the grozny way before the parade - they need a dose or reality bigtime. :)

NO!!!
I took them out:(

The US military parade looks better if it's held at Times Square,New York. I went to San Francisco and that place is crowded and you will be faced with the fanatic anti-war people
-
this boys a coupla drumsticks short of a picnic, methinks.
-
You guys ever see how much damage a tracked vehicle does to asphalt?
-
not to mention soft pasty liberals.
-
We should have a test to see who's body can stop a tank...
I'll let you go first. :D
-
Sandman, I'll drive. I'm qualified! :p

I agree. "Goose-stepping?" Yanks don't play that silly stuff. Too hard? More like it looks as stupid as it is. And Abrams in Times Square?
Here's how to celebrate victory:

Yep because they're weak and their legs will cramp. I bet you for $1 that they can only "goose-step" for 10 yards:D
When i used to be in J-ROTC back in hollywood high, we "goose-step" around the track carrying rifles during the "pep rally". "goose-stepping" is so hard that i can barely walk for a week.
This is how they expected us to look like while we are doing it. We cant afford small mistakes or else the whole thing will mess up

One time at band camp.......
That's about what JROTC is worth.

goose-step takes practice (the hard way) but the results looks very impressive.
-
Does anyone know of an actual point to JROTC? I'm not a big fan of ROTC (my Academy colors showing, I guess), but at least when people get done with that, they're officers. What do you get for being in JROTC? Nothing, as far as I can tell. And Ike, no US military unit - by which I mean a real unit, JROTC doesn't count - has ever goose-stepped. It looks dumb, because it is dumb.
-
J-ROTC is a preparation for ROTC.
we "goose-step" carrying rifles during the pep rally a few years ago here in hollywood high and i think thats the last time we did it.

impressive? Try stupid.

LOL Grünherz; thanks! I've been looking for a pic of Coaltion troops under that 'symbol of victory'. You don't happen to have one where both arms/swords are visible, preferrably with an Abrams in the middle?
Oh I sorta think the Nazi/Coommie goose stepping stuff looks kinda cool. All disciplined and hard and stuff.
But I'd rather take soldiers that've used the time training for war rather than goose stepping to battle any day.

everytime I saw the ruskys ar korean goosestep, I thought how
much it makes them look like puppets dancing for their dictator

hmmmmmm, should we dump the "goose-step" for massive tank columns rolling in Times Square NY?

we all did it and it sux and my legs hurt for a week.
So would "Tank Columns" rolling in times square be better than doing "Goose Step" if US military host a military parade for war victory in Iraq?

Do you have a "SQUARE" (like red square, tiananmen square, and Times Square) in san francisco?
-
The first time I saw goose-stepping I thought "man, that sure is ugly. I'm glad U.S. troops dont march like that".
Double-timing with boots and gear on is impressive. I like the 'stamping' sound that hundreds of boots make.

yep thats hard because all 100 people have to raise their feets to "goose step" at the same time. we done it in hollywood high and the teachers there seemed impressed on us.

Hollywood High is also a diversed school. The people who attend there are mostly latinos, asians, and there are some people from Armenia (Armenia used to be in the 15 republics which makes up the Soviet Union.), Poland, Lithuania. The Whites and Blacks in that school seems to be the minority over the latinos in hollywood high.
