I wonder, and am very proud off, that with so many protest marches in Germany against this bloody Iraq war and it's agitator bush all was friendly and peaceful.
Bush and his bunch would have loved to see riots here but there was absolutely nothing.
All i heard of was one american flag burning here in Berlin, but heh- that's only a piece of cloth worth of 2 $- noone was hurt :)

No that's not what I'm saying, but I can't remember the last time a cop was fire bombed in a riot. Seems to happen on that side of the pond more often. The worst riot I can remember would be the Rodney King LA riots.

Why would Bush love to see riots?
The Stars and Stripes might be a piece of cloth to you, but to us, it sumbolizes much more. I can understand, however, after that whole Nazi ordeal way back when, that you may be hesitant to treat a flag as anything more.
Fear not though, Blitz, youre in good company. We can add Germany to the distinguished list of American flag burning countries. Iraq, Iran, Syria... When we have friends like you guys, who needs enemies?

well i wasn't alive in '68 so I don't remember the watts riots. General civil disturbance is much diferent than firebombing police, I don't think that's ever happened here (could be wrong).

Well there has been a riot of two. There about the same as your soccer(football) games..
But if you threw a fire bomb at the police in the U.S. you'd get a 9mm round between your eyes before it landed. It would be good for Europeans to keep that in mind.

'65 or '68, the point still stands.
As for opening fire on those throwing petrol bombs, I'm not so sure your police would open fire with normal rounds unless they were cornered or trapped. Generally, if you look at the Northern Ireland riots, or the race riots here in the '80s, there tended to be a hard core of petrol bomb throwing tards with a larger crowd of demonstrators (maybe throwing rocks etc). British police tended to use rubber bullets and tear gas - less collateral damage. I think American riot police would also try and limit loss of life.

You seem to view Bush and his administration as propaganda machines. The beauty of a democray though is that should the majority of the US population feel the same way they can simply vote Mr. Bush out of office.
So, as far as any grand scheme you and your fellow protesters think exist for US domination world-wide I have a feeling you have fallen victim to the anti-war propaganda. Such a massive conspiracy is simply not possible in the US.
Just pay attention to the Democrat vs Republican debates you see here on the BBS. They are constantly at each others throats over policy..domestic and international. A conspiracy on the scale you envision would require co-operation and collusion amonst these two political parties...likely? I think NOT.

If I gave someone 12 years to complete a job, and they failed miserably, so I did it myself in 3 weeks I'd NEVER hire them again.

What are you talking about? US government is one of the oldest western governments in existence - over 200 years without major change in government structure. You would be hard pressed to name many western or other developed countries who's government/state structure is more than 70 years old.
Historically speaking, those guys are modern, we are archaic, not the other way around.
