Thinking about taking few weeks/months off myself.  Work is getting busy here at SCEA and I've also become hooked on Planetside.

Has Planetside reached open beta yet?  They accepted my application, but nothing else has come of it yet.

I'm in the EVE Online beta AND Star Wars: Galaxies.  Can't wait for Planetside!

hmm...cya in this game...

ive lost interest to...eve has that effect (wasted 2 hours like 10 minutes!!!!) and after eve gets released (may 9th if were completly unlucky) dragon empires should be coming into beta wich is good

Might as well change the title of this thread to: "When springtime meets 9 months between updates."

April and May have traditionally been the "I quit" months in that it seems "wow... a lot of people are leaving" posts start to pop up this time every year.  Its not a perception, its real... people do tend to leave more during this period.

Combine that with the common phenomina of "Its been 3 months, where the hell is our update!" having to endure 9 months of no updates... and you might as well get used to the notion that these types of posts are going to start happening alot.

Haven't had time to play in almost a week. I tried one evening but comp crashed. Maybe tonight, if I don't just crash on my bed when I get home. But I'm not quitting, cause soon I will have loads of spare time and a mor epowerful comp ;)

I have also witnessed this cycle over the past three years.  

In my case, I'm not complaining, I'm not wondering where the next update is, or anything else (nor are you accusing anyone of such)... but when ya lose interest, ya just gotta run with it.  Last night I spent all my perks before cancelling.  It really wasn't as fun as I expected it would be to HO a carrier with a 262.  Laser acks still seem to be more accurate at high speeds :D  (And dogfighting in a 234 was horribly unsuccessfull)

I'll be saving 15 bucks a month... I can buy more booze now :)  Summer is right around the corner and there'll be plenty of other things to do.

I doubt there will be a mass exodus, so HTC will still be around when I plan to return.  :)

I'm pretty bored with AH as well. When the golf courses start opening around here (April 30th is the target for my club), I'll probably stop playing.

You’re a pretty busy guy Oct with all the sports and personal life interventions.  Things do get a bit stale I will admit.  I look forward to flying with you again and wish you the best of luck.  There is more to life than AH which you are already well aware of.

thsi game is liek golf to me..i play it when im to beat down from skateboarding or potato peeling this new hot little blond cart girl .hmmmmm - or too hung over.. i love this game..yes i have had days where i dont like to playing(need more intstanmt furballs)..but those are few and far betweeen..


WHAT MAKES IT GOOD FOR ME IS flying with my squad mates..sneak attaks..lo alt runs..etc..love it...

I feel your pain.I felt the burn out back in January after 2 years straight and took a sabatical.Im ready to get back in a few weeks from now but sometimes ya have to take a break. Sit back and sip a few.Take a breather. :)
