Do planes (like the P-47) get more manoeurable when loading less guns/ammo?
seems obvious in real but don't know for aces high, it must be cause else they wouldn't give us the option of loading less guns...

i believe so..I know the P-51B is alot lighter than the P51D, not sure if its because of the guns tough.

Yes selecting less guns/ammo will give you a lighter plane. In addition planes lose weight as ammo is expended.

The easiest way to see this is to compare climb rates with various gun/ammo loads.

go offline, empty the ammo; fly around.  you'll see.

I thought so! cause my juggie was suddenly alot more manoeuvrable.
I loaded less guns since I wasn't intend to shoot alot in that P47 :)
