Want to start the 90 day clock tomorrow the 19th of April?
Don't know if Blix & Co. are going to get in real soon though. I assume you'll take discovery by US and verification by major news agencies as proof?

Blair himself said that the US and GB would need third party verification. He said the UN would be an obvious and natural choice for verification.

Suits me fine Toad...
Let me tell ya, I’m not the least bit happy winning this wager/debate.. It means I have no confidence in my own government. I am happy to finally get you to concede a debate for the 1st time in 3 years, but the topic makes me depressed. If the President of the United States could mislead Congress, the American people, all our allies about something so important as this... What else is he capable of lying about?.
I might as well write out a $45 check to HTC for Mass anyway.. patriotic duty I suppose. He deserves it. He can come back from the war and sit down at his computer and play a war game.. Just like nothing happened..
Well...
Except for waking up in the middle of the night shaking with a cold sweat.. He sees brown sandstorms.. white Toyota trucks with 50cc machine gun on the bed.. blasting toward his Humvee. At the hospital people slipping on the blood on the floor, 60% of hospital staff not showing up for work.. stacks of arms and legs in the corner.. 5 year old little girls crying for their momma.. Momma’s gone.. A-10’s flying overhead at a 100 feet in slow motion.. A surreal scene.. the smell of blood and sweat and fear... also the smell of sh*t .. the water pumping station has been blown up so nobody can flush the toilet.
Yeah.. these will be the images that will invade Mass’s dreams for the next few years.. possibly the rest of his life.
Was there any other way to avoid this?.. If Mass were to find out the premise was based on deception, ... oh never mind..
I want you to win this bet I really do.. The creditability of the United States is at stake.
(some other emotional stuff sniped.. not needed)

You know the answer to that.. has to be 3rd party officials.

What if thet find WMD in 4 months, will you still think bush is evil? And if they do find WMD what are the chances you wont just say it was planted by the evil PNAC operatives that run everything and maybe caused 911?
-
What are the odds that there would be chemicals planted if the inspectors didn't find any?
I just feel like the Iraqi's would have used em if they had had them.. they had nothing to lose after all.

Hmmm, I always wake up to dreams of getting laid.

And here's another interesting article...
Prove Iraqi guilt, MPs tell Blair (http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,2763,939535,00.html)
As a 1,000-strong Anglo-American task force of inspectors prepares to search hundreds of suspicious sites, Labour MPs are demanding an inquiry to establish whether MI6 misled ministers about Iraq's weapons programme.
Backbench Labour MPs who feel they were duped into backing the war on the basis of questionable intelligence want the cross-party Commons intelligence and security committee to carry out an investigation. One well-placed former minister said: "The intelligence committee is raring to challenge the veracity of what the security services told them about Saddam Hussein's chemical weapons. They were told what he had and where it was. There may be a perfectly innocent explanation for all this, but they don't seem to be able to find the stuff."

wow, that is quite the propaganda rag.

Hey, I still feel real confident that I'll win this one. The only possible way I can see that I'm going to lose is that you won't accept the proof.
I always figured that'd be your weasle way out.
I suppose Blix himself will have to open a canister himself, get anthrax and die for the "proof"? :D
Clock's running.
I doubt the UN will get in within three months. You have only to look at the ploys to keep the sanctions going against "Saddam Hussein's government" to see what a ludicrous tool the UN actually is.
-
BTW, nice little dramatisation on war there. I admit I kind skimmed through it because I think you were saying "war is bad", right?
Did that thought just come to you or what?
Refresh my memory... were you ever in the US military?
-
anyone whos anti military has never been in the military...
and who if not the UN is going to try and do something??? the us??? thats a little out of there juristiction (without the un of course...) face it the US needs the UN t ohave any type of policy on foreign governments other than trade poilicies...
-
My bet is they will find nothing in the country but left over proof they(Iraqis) were doing something, the weapons are long gone. ALready in Syria....

You may now join Gummyherz in the Dubya Cheerleaders cadre. Your sense of propriety and caring for those who have bled, died, and suffered emotionally in the name of your freedom is staggering. You need help, little man. May I suggest a 12 step program, prefferably on an 11 step pier.

What really scares me is you really believe this crap.
Regardless of the persona you hide behind on the internet, it is quite apparent you are a "silver spoon college girl".
Your inability to post anything but your unsupported opinion shows you have no basis for forming it on your own. You are simply following the mindless anti-war whiners, and you don't even really know why.
When you get out in the real world, mature, and realize the freedom and safety you have is provided by the men and women fighting and dying around the world under the US flag, then you may change your attitude. Perhaps not your opinion, because we are all entitle to our own, but at least then it may be YOUR OWN, and not one loaned to you by the flag burning liberals. Hopefully when you truly own your beliefs, you can express them maturely, and with the facts they are based on.

Ahh. Conservative debating 101, lesson 47. "Accuse your adversary of exactly what you are guilty of to throw him off the scent." It may work with the sheeple you normally carry on with, but not me, little man. If you can do no better than this to rationalize the position of the right, please stop trying. I'm embarrassed for you.

God, this is awesome! Where did you learn such devastating forum debate skills? I wanna be you when I grow up. I mean when you grow up. You out of middle school yet, Johnny?

I see. The "spoon fed college student liberal turn around" comes into play. I haven't seen that used in a few days.
You gave me the "I know you are but what am I" come back, closed with the "little man" insult. Your dorm mates would be proud. I give it a 6.

why does arfann keep calling everyone "little man"?

It's a common trait with those used to getting knocked around in real life. They pump their chests out when there is the safety of BBS anonymity.

So now I am supposed to get defensive, right? And spew a bunch of info regarding my age, experience, military background and all. To which you will claim I'm lying and anyone can be anyone on the net. And then I'd post a scan of my DD214 to prove my Viet Vet status and refer you to my squaddies regarding my grey hair and age. And in the mean time the issue under discussion gets lost in the melie. Nice try, Buttwheat.

Two reasons:
1. I'm quite large
2. Anyone who walks around with his nose up Dubya's arse can't be all that tall!

Don't get defensive at all. It doesn't require a response. I know my description of you was dead on, and you know it. The rest doesn't matter.
