I did the [img] thing but all I get is the X sign.

I am really dumb. I've only been doing this since 1987!

HTC no longer hosts images. You must reference the image to another site.

You mean you can't attach an image without it being on anothe web site?
Oh well, it ain't worth the trouble,
but trust me, it was a really really cool picture!
