Do I have to have an active account to play in the H2H arenas?

If by active you mean paying 14.95 a month, no, you don't need one to play h2h.  You still need to be registered and obtain a password from HTC though.

Thanks...heheh I see you have 390 posts so far. If I'm a "senior member", you must be a "great great grandpa member";)

So, lemme see if I understand this...If I wanna take a break from the main arenas and Combat Theater and such, so I cancel my account, I have to get a new password from HTC? Or can I simply log in using my old screen name and password? Please have patience with me. I may be a "senior member", but I've never given the H2H areas a thought, before.

Your account will be deleted if you take a break and you will be required to create a new name. They will send you the password.

Thanks, guys, just the kind of info I need. I'm seriously thinking of reactivating my UO acct, just to break up my online gaming routine a bit.

The silly thing is you cannot deactivate your paid account and still have H2H capability.  Maybe its actually a pretty smart design feature.  I dont know......

Steve, thanks, but no thanks. I've got too much invested in time and sweat in the characters I have now, over the last two years...off and on:)
