Title: Hanoi Jane
Post by: Jackal1 on April 28, 2003, 02:35:24 PM
Subj: KEEP THIS MOVING; ACROSS AMERICA HONORING A TRAITOR This is for all the kids born in the 70's that do not remember this, and didn't have to bear the burden, that our fathers, mothers, and older brothers and sisters had to bear. Jane Fonda is being honored as one of the "100 Women of the Century." Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country but specific men who served and sacrificed during Vietnam.

The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot. The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat.  In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF Survival School was a POW in Ho Lo Prison-the "Hanoi Hilton." Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell, cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was ordered to describe for a visiting American "Peace Activist" the "lenient and humane treatment" he'd received.  He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and dragged away.

During the subsequent beating, he fell forward upon the camp Commandant's feet, which sent that officer berserk. In '78, the AF Col. still suffered from double vision (which permanently ended his flying days) from the Vietnamese Col.'s frenzied application of a wooden baton. From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the 47FW/DO (F-4E's).  He spent 6 years in the "Hilton"- the first three of which he was "missing in action".  His wife lived on faith that he was still alive.  His group, too, got the cleaned, fed, clothed routine in preparation for a "peace delegation" visit.

They, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they still survived.  Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his SSN on it, in the palm of his hand.  When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man's hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?" Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper.

She took them all without missing a beat.  At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him the little pile of papers. Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Col. Carrigan was almost number four but he survived, which is the only reason we know about her actions that day.

I was a civilian economic development advisor in Vietnam, and was captured by the North Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in 1968, and held for over 5 years.  I spent 27 months in solitary confinement, one year in a cage in Cambodia, and one year in a "black box" in Hanoi.  My North Vietnamese captors deliberately poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a nurse in a leprosarium in Ban me Thuot, South Vietnam, whom I buried in the jungle near the Cambodian border.

At one time, I was weighing approximately 90 lbs.  (My normal weight is 170 lbs.) We were Jane Fonda's "war criminals."

When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi, I was asked by the camp communist political officer if I would be willing to meet with Jane Fonda.  I said yes, for I would like to tell her about the real treatment we POWs received different from the treatment purported by the North Vietnamese, and parroted by Jane Fonda, as "humane and lenient." Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky floor on my knees with outstretched arms with a large amount of steel placed on my hands, and beaten with a bamboo cane till my arms dipped.

I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda for a couple of hours after I was released.  I asked her if she would be willing to debate me on TV. She did not answer me.

This does not exemplify someone who should be honored as part of "100 Years of Great Women." Lest we forget..."100 years of great women" should never include a traitor whose hands are covered with the blood of so many patriots.  There are few things I have strong visceral reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in blatant treason, is one of them.

Please take the time to forward to as many people as you possibly can. It will eventually end up on her computer and she needs to know that we will never forget.

That woman is a pathetic harpy squeak.

But what is also pathetic is the people who want really, really hard to believe that this truly happened. They get hard-ons when they read this urban legend.

Jane Fonda DID propaganda for N.Korea, however, the events described in that article are mostly false.

I guess people love hating a really bad villain.

Good to know the facts on the slips of paper thing.

Doesn't lessen the fact that she deserves a big for what she did do.

If this was the things I hate thread, Hanoi Jane would be first on the list.  Second would be the lies about what she did.
She did enough that I wouldn't piss on her if she was on fire, but most of the crud listed in the first post is bs.

Whether the above is true or not she still is sh*t and deserves nothing better than to be drawn, quarterd, burned, hanged, shot and then dismembered, buried and forgotten about.

Like Sean Penn who thought that he knew that he could get to the bottom of things, who the F@CK do these people think they are with their extremely large egos that they think that THEY know exactely know what is going on in a foreign country and that THEY can go there a show the whole world the truth.  That only they are right and that this foreign government is being 100% truthfull with them and allowing them to see the perfuct truth about said country.  Just shows you how stupid these people are.

[/rant off]

btw...is there a way to register our complaint against Hanoi Jane being included in the 100 most whatever the f@ck women?

Most of these F*ckheads never even finished High School.

Yet they know more about foreign policy than our elected leaders, the CIA, and the joint chiefs.

Get the f*ck out of her.

Go back to LA, make your ****ty movies, drink Lattes at a trendy cafe, and laugh at the little people, but by all means, shut the F*ck up.

F*cking potato.

Know what I'm going to do? I swear this is going to happen, you'll read about it, and I'm going to get arrested for it.

When she's dead, I'm going to get all my friends who are Vietnam vets, and we're going to take a trip to her grave. We'll call the media, and just as the cameras start rolling, we're going to encircle, drop trow, and piss on her grave. I promise you!

(Finally, in an interview in 2000, almost thirty years after the fact, Fonda admitted: "I will go to my grave regretting the photograph of me in an anti-aircraft carrier, which looks like I was trying to shoot at American planes. It hurt so many soldiers. It galvanized such hostility. It was the most horrible thing I could possibly have done. It was just thoughtless.")

I was in the Central Highlands when Jane was in Hanoi. I will never forgive or forget what she did. I also will never forget or forgive the pukes that welcomed me home with epithets and pig's blood. I strongly suspect that many of them are the ones who now run around with American flags hanging off their pickups and calling me a traitor for being against Bush's follies.

The whole thing boils down to one question:

Was this a justified war by US because it defended itself or was the whole action taken by US government against Vietnam a political crime altogether?

She might had made some failures but altogether she did great.

Jane Fonda

Regards Blitz

btw As long as America has women like her it can be proud

I know very well that the young american soldiers who fought bravely in Vietnam aren't responsible for what had happened there. Was no need to spew on them when they were coming home.

The government who send them there was, though .

Arfann,

I'm sure it would be much easier for you if you knew that the people you hate now were the very same people you hated back then.  It would be such a tidy scenario.

The truth is, you have become what you hated back then.  This is what happens when you try to justify your hate for someone on baseless accusations and hopes.

Sorry mini, but there are some liberal types who did not greet the returning servicemen with disdain. Some of us feel it is very possible to be against the policies of our Government and for our troops. (for example, how did you feel about those guys in Somalia?)

What Jane said and did was stupid, but it was also her right as an American. Hate her all you want, that is your right too.

ps. Maybe this should be directed at someone else.

Ummm... MT... I believe you completely missed the point.

Arfann is saying the people that threw blood on him in the 70's are most likely the ones that are telling him he can't be against the war today.

I was adressing the complete idiocy of that statement itself.  Not the merits of any pro/anti war sentiment.

Blitz,

You are clearly an bellybutton bag.  It doesn't have anything to do with some ambiguous notion of national morality you moron.

Our nation was at war.  She gave aid to the enemy.  She's a traitor, end of story.

At the time, the United States was in serious struggle with a very powerful nation whose sole aim was to turn the world to communism by force if necessary.  In a misguided attempt to stem the tide of a cold war many thought we were losing at the time, we intervened in Vietnam at the request of the French and the South Vietnamese.

It was the thought at the time we were in a struggle for our very existence and it was better to fight the war on the shores of Vietnam than the sunny beaches of California.

Right or wrong, I think our leaders acted in way they truly believed was in the best interests of the nation at that time.  We were not trying to force our way of life on another country, we were trying to preserve the independence of another nation.  Our execution was poor and our insight into the microcosm of the problems of Vietnam were inaccurate to say the least.

Hell, Ho Chi Min would have junked Communism for Free Trade if we would have backed him in getting the French out of Vietnam.

While traveling across the U.S. selling my biker goodies we have sold 2 different designs of jacket patchs more than any other. One is " Jane Fonda -  American Traitor squeak" .... the other has Snoopy smiling and flipping the bird. It simply states " F#$K You Jane.

Haven`t got a website. I have been considering this. We have been off the road for a while due to wife`s cancer operation. I`m not sure exactly what patchs I have in storage, but, when I get a chance to go through things, if I have any I will hook you up. I sold a trailor load of supplies to Chrome Cowboy about 3 months ago, so I am unsure.

The title in both cases seems justified to me. Next step is gone if they mess up again, according to my understanding of Skuzzy's rules.

And if the Swedish prime minister really said that, he needs to have his head examined. I wonder if he spoke out against the 911 terrorists so strongly? I bet he didn't.

There are two things in your comments that are very telling, in my opinion, about your future here.

First, you say you are "trying to get me to step over the line".

Second Just a matter of time "as you see it" Maybe you are not capable of knowing where the line is in the first place.

Actually, the way the story goes is this.

My father was coming home from being stationed at a listening post in Euope. He was with Air Force Intelligence, and spent most of his time listening in on Russian military transmissions.

Anyway, he was coming home to meet my mother and while waiting for a cab, in his dress blues, someone threw a cup of coffee his back and starting saying the usual, though I'm not sure the term baby killer was used. He siad he was called a murderer.

Thankfully the coffee was lukewarm. Of course, a melee ensued.

Eventually, they were slpit up, and my dad got into a cab and went home.
