Best fight goin was defending a base in the R/hand lower corner of trinity...invinity..<>
The Dirty-Land-Grabbin-General bastages ( DLGGB for short ) took out the fighter hangers...in what had been a pretty good little fight..
In that I discovered that if you take an A20, and you OPEN THE DOORS, you can get rid of those hangy things that you are REQUIRED you carry in the hanger as soon as you break wind...
Get alittle altitude, turn around, and head back in, put the throttle a the maximum allowable setting ( also known as balls out ) just to get her movin.
BRAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAAAA !!!
If I were a hot Pretty Passion Pink Cherry Pickin Pony Pilot I wouldn't overlook the plodding porky pundent plying his projectiles to the posterior of that pilots Puffy Pink Picker. Regardless of his "moves"
The 17 was just icing.

The A-20G can make a decent fighter. It performs better than most people give it credit for (it's faster than some of the slower fighters like Spit 5) and it can be a lot of fun to fly it into a furball. With a gunner it's even better.

A20 rules!
You can if your careful unload those hvy pointy things over an enemy base & cause LOTS of destruction. It is REALLY fun in a NOE raid.
Best sortie to date I leveled city & got 4 kills waiting for goon to arrive. 2 in the air, 2 off the runway.
Its a whole lotta fun packed into a tight box.

I prefer dogfightin in the B-26! landed 5 kills in one not so long ago! :D

Got shot down by an A-20 not too long ago. My dora vs a p51 and an A20. Should have gone for the A-20 right off the bat, but instead went for the mustang. We ended up scissoring on the deck, and that freaking A-20 came lumbering in, nose guns blazing just as I was starting to get hits on the P-51.
I'll have much more respect for the things next time I meet one. He'll buy the farm first for sure.

A-20 is a fun bomber. Just remeber elevators come off like they were glued on if you dive more than 30 secs , best to skip bombed.

As a strickly low level bomber driver, the A20 (or Boston) is my ride.
Fast, 8 500lb bombs and a lot of guns. Take two or three on a raid with at C47 coming along and you can take down a town and take fields. Get some kills too.
Sweet plane. If you have a good gunner, you can hang in there and play, but if not, go to WEP and hightail for home.

If I am not msitaken, there was a film posted of Drex in an A20 ... unbelievable !!!

I loaded it to a website that one of our members put up. Can't remember the URL. The A20 is a hoot to fight with.

Anybody got that link for Drex's A20 fight? Would love to see what a virtual pilot of Drex's caliber can do in it.

Scanned my hard drive for that film .. couldn't find it ... but I did find the one when Drex waxed 5 or 6 with an F6-F.

A-20 is a fun plane to fly and to fight in. I like seeing the confused questions from those that I shot down wondering how a bomber was able to out turn their Spitfire or N1K2. The top turret is useless though since you don't have all that great of a field of fire.

Back one time in the AK Desert map, my base was under seige, and apparently I was the only one who cared. They destroyed all the Fighter hangars, and, of course, the oh-so-lovable VH.
So, I upped in a Bomber Hangar in a B-17, took off, and went out for a bit, then came back in guns a blazin!!!
LOL, I didnt kill a damn knit or rook, but I sure as hell had a fun time!
P.S., in case you couldnt tell, I'm all Bish :)

Well I think I like a20.. Have shot down at least 10 262's. Last tod about 300kills in a a20 mostly gvs but another 262 bit dust and many other fighters..............ho'ing a a20 not good idea :)
