I thought it was visually stimulating, but the plot was really stupid.  It was like cyberpunk for kindergarteners.

Yeah, the need to come up with a GOOD film version of Neuromancer or Mona Lisa Overdrive.

Snow Crash would make a pretty good film too.  I'm sure they would butcher it though.

I had a chance to see it in New York a few years ago - with Qddraw from WB. It was a toss up between that, and Analyze This. We went to A.T.  Glad we did! Best, funniest movie I'd seen for a long time. Heard bad things about Matrix.
