Have you heard about the rock climber near MOAB Utah who, after seveal days of being pinned under a boulder,

CUT OFF HIS OWN ARM, THEN REPELLED TO THE BOTTOM OF THE CANYON IN ORDER TO BE RESCUED!!!

I believe that's the definition of a girl who coyote ugly...

Double coyote ugly is if you gnaw your other arm off after you leave because you know when she wakes up, she'll be looking for a one armed man   :)

btw, they're saying it was 800 lbs but who cares.. ran out of water on tuesday, cut off his arm thursday.. woah.  Will to survive

In all honesty, I would not have done it. Of course, theres no way of knowing just how bad his arm was under that rock, if I saw it was so squished that even if I was rescued id have it chopped off, then I may have done it.

But rappelling 'n stuff.. double wow.

Only a few months ago a fisherman got his arm caught in a winch at sea.  He had to cut off his arm with a knife to free himself.  I believe the story was posted on this BBS.
