No. But it will give one a hell of a fight if the pony decides to stop running.

Doesn't a P-51 out accelerate a F4U? Maybe that's the reason why it can't catch one in a flat out dive.

How about drag? I think that Corsair with its radial engine has much bigger drag...

Post by: Steve on May 03, 2003, 01:48:17 PM: charts schmarts. Original E states being equal, the f4u-4 will not catch a pony in a dive. The difference is not dramatic, however.
