William Connor and Arthur Duncan McNees
Duncan was born on 9/14/00 at ~1845 weighing 3lb 7oz
Connor was born on 9/14/00 at ~1915 weighing 4lb 9oz.
(dinnae have the exact times at the moment)
They're about 6 weeks early (common with twins I understand) and are resting comfortably in the NICU*
I'll post pictures tomorrow or Saturday, whenever I can get some and get them on the web.
Granted it'll be a few years, but before we all know it these two will be tag-teaming bandits left and right (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

But I can't complain about the reason.

Congrats Cave,
My wife and I had twins about 14 years ago (we went from 1 son to 3 sons over night) and lemme tell ya, your in for some fun-filled nights. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
No such thing as one sh*tty diaper, or one bottle at 3 a.m.....Lord I remember them days like they just happened, in fact I don't think I'm fully rested yet, and won't be til they get moved out.
Enjoy what little rest ya do get, cuz once they start walkin'.....well nevermind, I don't wanna spoil thier fun. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
BTW I have 4 sons total, the oldest is 19, the twins are 14, and the youngest is 10.
Congrats again!!!!

Caveman,
I hear ya. My son is 7 months now. At first I was on AH just in spurts, here and there, and then I had to be ready just to log in a second - I did a lot of alt+F4 (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
After things settled down I was able find more time, but even now I can't just jump on when I feel like. That you have two will make things a little different from my experience, but I have to say I've enjoyed being a father more than I ever dreamed possible (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
Good luck!

Pongo, many thanks bro. When we finally get to meet the first several rounds are on me (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
Leonid I know exactly what you mean. My daughter is 4 and there've been plenty of times that a crash in the back of the house have resulted in me flippin the AP on and running to investigate.
I'll have some time to fly as the boys are going to be in NICU for awhile =( (but I reckon it's the best place for'em). Course I'll have to squeeze it in between going to see'em and sleepin (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
Also a big thanks to everyone for thier congradulation and well wishes in the MA tonight when Pongo announced it over channel. I really appreciate it, and my wife did too when I told her about it (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

Dang, Cavemanj, congratulations x 2!!
It was just about 18 years ago that my wife and I went to the hospital to visit the babies we were going to adopt -- twin girls, only a few hours old. Holding them in my arms was the most exciting and the most frightening thing I have ever done. Makes looking down the barrels of a Flakpanzer seem like a walk in the park (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
Next week, we will be taking our twins to Sacremento to meet their birthmom and family. Should be an exciting time -- and an emotional one. I only wish 20/20 would be there to cover the story so we could make back some of the money we've spent on therapists!
You're going to be a celebrity, you know. Everywhere you go, people will be stopping and asking the same old question, over and over: Are they twins? Girls? (Everyone used to ask us if our girls were boys) Live it up and enjoy every last minute of it. You will survive and you will grow from the experience, believe me. Take each day as it comes, love them with all your heart and soul, and for god's sake -- GET THEM ON THE SAME SCHEDULE!!!
Good luck, my friend!

Twins! WTG Mr. and Mrs. CavemanJ! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
I'm a twin too, and I agree with what Wolf37 says about fights. The good news is: my brother and I have been on talking terms for a little while now. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
Was born premature too, 3 pounds, but gained so much weight I had to be put on a diet after a year. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
One good thing about twins: they always have a playmate.
My thoughts will be with the little Cavemen and their parents.

Twin boys!WOW -I thought my wife and I had OUR hands full with 2 yr old and 1 yr old sons. Yep its gonna be a handfull for awhile for certain. The biggst problem I recall was the lack of sleep infant care necessitates (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)!
On the other hand there is no greater feeling than seeing in thier eyes that absolute adorement you remember seeing looking into the eyes of your parents when you were a child.

Thanks for the congrats guys. The wife'll be reading the thread later today (said she wants to see what everyone has said) and she'll prolly be sayin thanks 'erself too.
On an update, the wife is home, they kicked her out last night (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
The boys are doing real good, out of the hot beds and into the box things. Breathing room air w/o any supplented oxy, and they're gonna start with real feeding today.
Got to hold Duncan yesterday for a bit. Can't believe how small he is. Almost too small to hold.
Hopefully I'll see ya'll in the arena later today (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
