Is anyone using this stick?  Have you been able to map buttons 9 & 10?  If so how?

I use the profile sw to map 10 as a shift button then add more for total of 18 buttons

K....made a profile..all buttons work, but the joystick stops responding and I have to alt/tab out then come back in and it works again. Any ideas why this is happening? Or how I can fix it?

i had a logitech wingman freedom 2.4 for about a week.  Found the stick too stiff for my liking and i sorely missed my old MS Sidewinder 2.

I solved this problem by taking it back to the shop and swapping it for another sidewinder.

It has less buttons but you can fly much more accurately with it and you dont have to worry about running out of batteries in the middle of a fight.

It shuts itself off to conserve the batteries, I just keep hiiting the button I programmed for the clipboard to prevent this.

It shuts itself off all the time??

It looks like a great stick!  Why'd they have to make it wireless?

So, would any of you recommend it?  They are sure cheap on ebay :)

Just wondering, txs

Its ok, MS joysticks are better by far tho. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/sidewinder/Prec2.asp is what i have. I would not swap it for anything!
